The ASR-48-NBC and the ASR-100N-NBC Safe Cell are portable, positive pressure, emergency air filtration systems designed to overpressure a bomb shelter and keep up to 12 adults alive in the event of a Nuclear, Biological or Chemical event. They look and operate exactly the same, but they have different airflow outputs and prices.

Both the ASR-48-NBC and ASR-100N-NBC feature an automatic switching power supply that will trickle charge a user-supplied 12 volt battery and then automatically switch to drawing power from the battery if the power grid goes down. When the power comes back on, the power supply automatically switches back to AC power.

The entire filter bank and blower unit is designed to be mounted inside a collective protection area such as a bomb shelter where it can be inspected and serviced without leaving the protected space.

Please see the specifications on this unit below. For more detailed information you can download the combined installation and operation manual (PDF) for the ASR-48-NBC and the ASR-100N-NBC.
